An award-winning copywriter, creative director, and naming & branding specialist, Beth has been helping companies connect with customers for over 20 years. Her marketing experience runs the gamut of industries and clients, from high-profile corporations like National Semiconductor and Toyota to newer companies you may not have heard of—yet. She's also worked with a variety of ad agencies, among them Foote, Cone & Belding, J. Walter Thompson and Grey.

Beth is equally at home in print, broadcast and interactive, and her work has been featured in Adweek.

She's currently a creative director at Catchword, a branding firm that specializes in name development. She also works independently, creating marketing materials for select clients.

Beth wisely abandoned her first writing venture—a novel about a poodle who lives in a teepee—when she was 11. Her marketing career began soon after with a summer job demonstrating an exercise device called the Trim-Twist. (Would we make this stuff up?) A lifelong student of the human psyche, Beth earned her B.A. at Brown University in creative writing and organizational behavior, and completed a post-graduate psychology program at the Pennsylvania Gestalt Center. When real life gets dull, she writes short stories.
